ISF Late Response

An ISF Late Response, in the context of the Importer Security Filing (ISF) requirements, refers to the situation where an importer or their authorized agent fails to provide the required ISF data to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) within the specified time frame. ISF is also known as the “10+2” program because it requires the submission of 10 data elements by importers and 2 additional data elements by ocean carriers before the cargo is loaded onto the vessel that will transport it to the United States.
